The hunting area is situated within an hour and a half's drive to the south east of Windhoek, the capital of Namibia,located towards the edge of the Kalahari Desert. The area has a number of game reserves—the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR, the world's second largest protected area), Khutse Game Reserve and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Animals that live in the region include brown hyenas, lions, meerkats, giraffes, warthogs, jackals, several species of antelope (including the eland, gemsbok, springbok, hartebeest, steenbok, kudu, and duiker), and many species of birds and reptiles. Vegetation in the Kalahari consists mainly of grasses and acacias, but there are over 400 identified plant species present.

Accommodation

Visit the land where the red sand meets the deep blue sky and the sun sets in an explosion of color. Bask in the crisp clear starlight to the sounds of the African night. Walk or drive through the desert over the dunes and along the dune valleys among the Camel thorn trees.


The main building and thatched roof chalets are superbly perched on the crest of a dune affording spectacular 360-degree views. The evenings and early mornings are serene with Oryx and Springbok roaming at your doorsteps. Dining and bar accommodations areas are under the traditional thatched roofs. You will also appreciate relaxing in the Boma (a fire pit surrounded by wooden fence) and relive all of the exciting moments of the day.

Non hunting activities

Other inclusive activities such as quad biking, horse riding, sundowner excursions, clay pigeon shooting, stargazing, photographic hunting and walking trails are also offered.

 

Hunting Area

Covering an area in excess of 40,000 acres, the farms, diverse in landscape and natural surroundings, offer an unforgettable and truly African hunting experience…a piece of heaven in the midst of Africa. The game farm offers a typical Kalahari savannah landscape with red dunes and majestic shepherd's and camel thorn trees complimenting the breathtaking surroundings.
