Hunting

The area is fantastic for hunting dangerous game and is for some, the greatest experience on earth. The thrill of stalking an animal that is has equal or superior killing power can ignites a serious adrenaline rush. For your best experience and for quality Elephant (up to 70 pound tuskers), Buffalo (up to 43” Daggaboys), Hippo, Croc and leopard, this hunting area is incredible.

The Buffalo is a formidable adversary and sometimes over 2000 pounds of muscle. They can take a severe beating and still come after those who oppose him.

Leopard Hunting is all together different form other hunting in Africa. Night hunting over Bait is the most common method and hunting a leopard is an absolute mental thrill and a super adrenalin rush.

The Hippo, though a grass eater is still a dangerous beast. Weighing up to 3 tons and able to move at speeds of 45 mph on land with lots of momentum, makes it difficult to stop if headed your way.

If you are into walking long hours of the day, may we suggest elephant-hunting. Contrary to popular belief there are numerous elephants in Africa. Conservation efforts over the last 100 years have had a significant impact on the elephant’s numbers. Elephant hunting is done on foot, in thick cover, offering hours of near boredom interrupted by brief moments of pure adrenaline rush.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU NEED TO BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE (AT LEAST A YEAR) FOR HUNTING BIG TUSKER ELEPHANTS AS QUOTA’S AND AVAILABLE DATES ARE LIMITED. SEASON OPENS APRIL 1st EVERY YEAR.
