Upon arrival guests are welcomed and transfered by road to Kafubezi Tented Camp.Ideally located 2 hours from Johannesburg, Mabula Private Game Reserve boasts the ‘Big Five’, malaria free private game reserve of 30,000 acres.

Offering spectacular golden plains, breathtaking sunsets and Big 5 game viewing - "Place of theGiant Eagle Owl", is the ideal location

for a starry-eyed getaway. Discreetly tucked away in the tree line on the edge of the magnificent Mvubu plain, the tented Safari Camp pampers its guests in five

luxury canvas tents, where romantic oil lamps and home prepared meals served in the thatched Lapa

add to this unique 'Out of Africa' experience.

Game viewing is at its best against a backdrop of rivers, streams and stretches of open vistas.

Mammal species include big game such as elephant, lion, white and black rhino, hippo, leopard and

buffalo. African python and the Nile crocodile are also resident in the reserve which is a birdwatchers’ paradise as well.
